Hi, does anybody have the video of me crashing my fixie on sprinters hill after saturday slowies a few weeks ago? I remember there was a helmet cam in use behind me and I'd kinda like to see the footage (just for laughs, I wasn't seriously hurt or anything).

I think this might be the footage you're looking for. You did seem to be OK.

By what you can see in that video, the car had right of way?

How on earth did he manage not to get hurt? Not even wearing a helmet

From what I can make out from the audio the first thing the bike rider says as he gets up off the road is: "expletive, Virgin Mary, you had a red light"

Proving once again bikers are invincible. Can not be killed by drivers of 4 wheels. And helmet wearing is a baloney!

:) I think that was me, right behind him. I thought I was going down right from the first second, but no!

I was the 3rd rider past you and I heard a soft thud. With hindsight it sounded like you hit the ground relatively hard.
Funny watching it back on video. The sprint up that hill always feels faster than it looks in real life.

So, what was the problem? Disengaged cleats?

Yeah, pulled my right foot out of the pedal and couldn't really hold it.

It was a fixie....

and Andrew was down on his drops and LA was on his hoods. Big difference.

Andrew was also not taking any PED's.

Well I assume this without any evidence to the contrary.

True. Another technical challenge for riding the fixie.
