It's on again from today - half yearly clearance.

Some pretty good bikes with up to 30% off (and and extra 10% if you have bought a bike there before).

I got two different Bontager saddles. They are $9 each (80% off) and the ones they have on their mid to top end bikes.

Descente or whatever they are called nicks are about $80 (half price) and so forth.

Glasses look like good value. THe GP4000 are a brown colour only, but saves postage costs for anyone wanting them and going online to PBK.

Descente make some good stuff.

I mainly need a new helmet and some arm warmers, guess i need some knicks too (they cut my arm warmers, jersey, singlet and the straps for my bib knicks at the hospital).

I might drop in tomorrow and see if they have anything suitable.

The GP4000's are sold out. They have a tyre called Triathelon for $39. The remaining 4000's are 25% off $99.

Well, i went in and checked it out, but the MET helmets were the same price as other places, and that's after the discount. Decided there wasn't really anything that was a good enough deal for me.

I came away empty handed. I was looking for winter gloves and a new bike pump. I looked at the helmets and the ones with real specials wern't of interest.

Mail order is competitive on many items, but you don't get an Aussie sticker on the helmets.

I might try ebay for my helmet. I've seen new Bell Sweep's for good prices before.

As long as you don't need an Australian saftey sticker for ramdom inspections at bike races.

Let me know how you go, I might get one myself.

I'm getting one with Australian Standards sticker, otherwise i'd probably just get one from probikekit. I could probably just transfer the sticker from my MET.

Let's see if there's a second hand market for those AS stickers on eBay...
