The society was created in appreciation of the cleaned up Cooks River path which was cleaned by Ian after he carried his bike over 3 week old mess 27 times, he stopped cursing the useless Canterbury council and cleaned it up him self. The broom was a write-off afterwards... Photo and half-hearted sweeping help by Stevan Radmanovic "

I'm inclined to send this link over to the council, but how did he report the mess to the council during those 3 weeks (and are there exact dates) ?

Did he use one of those nifty Snap send Solve / Neat Street iphone application?
Or did he contact the Canterbury Council on any of these contact details ?
http://www.canterbury.nsw.gov.au/www/ht ... act-us.asp - if there's an email can he date it and post it up ?
Or did he use telepathy?

Our society isn't here to worry about such things, just to appreciate what has been done. There ate other things to celebrate, have you seen him dance? Or play the maracas?

Indeed, but considering that there are very few Ian Karzies around to appreciate, and the responsibility of a clean path falls squarely on the canterbury Council I would like to know if there is a better way to ensure that.

On the plus side, that'll leave him more time for things like dancing or playing the maracas

Good point :) I've always thought of Marrickville council as pretty good with this sort of thing, so I'm sure there's a way to get action

In the UK, they have a good solution to report potholes to council.
