Was looking around for some music this morning, looking mainly at lessor known artists;
bassnectar
dubstep
mat zo

And then incidentally found the video for a song that's around at the moment that's evaded me;
Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand (Official Video)

What's on your play list at the moment?

Good stuff Lizanne

I've got a cover of Highway to Hell that I use sometimes in spin classes, its speeded up a little and hits the spot. Truth be it that original doesn't sound as good as the cover I use

Live version by the sounds of it

Didn't find what I was looking for with bassnector

I used to listen to Garage Pressure on FBI

But I found that garage music was good for one certain pace but not for when you want to push yourself....where as,

http://www.mastersofhardcore.com/

http://www.rave-o-lution.nl/

are what rocks my world when I want to mash those pedals and go mental. (i.e hardcore gabba):)

Haha Jules, I get it now. You're actually gabba stomping when you're on the bike! Probably not good for your pedal stroke you know ;)

No love for www.velobeats.com ?
This guy does his own mixes with cycling/spin in mind, and there are occasionally sound clips of Jens Voigt, Boonen etc to keep you motivated. Most of them sit around 140bpm so they are a good workout cadence, or you can cruise at 70rpm to the beat too. Hugo and I run them.

I'm actually a little embarrassed at what i'm listening too these days. Currently plenty of "alternative" hip hop currently in rotation

Eg. Chiddy Bang, Kid Cudi, Aloe Blacc, Dan Black

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McRgkE_vgjU

Along with a few others, MGMT, Passion Pitt, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, La Roux, Muse, Run DMC, Gorillaz

Now that's interesting, I just need to know the record label they use

Nothing to be embarrassed about at all, we all have different personal tastes and we all agree that everyone elses music is crap :wink:

I don't think velobeats has a record label, it's a guy who does it in his house for fun?

Chatting with him now, if he creates the music then I'm set, if he compiles the music of others, then I can't use it.
