Yep. Classic pics. They are a bit sketchy on the detail behind some of the pics though. For example, the picture of Judith Arndt and the short summary fails to mention that when she gave "the bird" as she crossed the finish line in Athens, she was giving it to the German selectors. She had been riding in the breakaway with Sara Carrigan of Australia, but when it was clear that she was in the gold medal position, she slowed, and let Sara Carrigan win as a protest to the German cycling selectors who had refused to let her partner Petra Rossner compete on the team with her.

Of course, none of that made it into the Australian media, who, as usual, focused only on the the Gold medal of another Aussie, not with the real story behind it, and the fact that we only got gold because the German gave it to us was completely overlooked.
