I've set up my MS Society find-raising page for the Brisbane-Cairns ride at
http://www.everydayhero.com.au/antony_green

The route is
Day 1 (15 May) Brisbane - Caloundra 95km
Day 2 Caloundra - Gympie 125km
Day 3 Gympie - Hervey Bay 138km
Day 4 Day off in Hervey Bay (probably go to Fraser Island)
Day 5 Hervey Bay - Gayndah 177km
Day 6 Gayndah - Monto 146km (few hills this day)
Day 7 Monto - Biloela 97km (one climb but two big descents)
Day 8 Biloela - Rockhampton (145km)
Day 9 Rockhampton - Marlborough (109km)
Day 10 Marlborough - Carmilla (all flat from here)
Day 11 Carmila - Mackay (99km)
Day 12 Mackay - Airlie Beach (169km)
Day 13 Day off in Airlie Beach (sailing the Whitsunday?)
Day 14 Airlie Beach - Ayr (181km)
Day 15 Ayr - Townsville (88km)
Day 16 Townsville - Ingham (114km)
Day 17 Ingham - Innisfail (155km)
Day 18 1 June Innisfail - Cairns (90km)

A little under 2,000km all up. I've done a list which includes all the marginal seats, but I won't bore you all with that.

Antony

Have a good ride and say hi to the All Trails crew for me. There are a few riders on this who I did the Alice to Darwin and Darwin to Broome with last year.

That's a very generous donation James. I hope you didn't add an extra zero by mistake.

I'll pass on your regards.

I tried posting to this topic a couple of times on the trip and couldn't do it. I'll give a full report when I return.

I'm in Innisfail, the second last day of the ride, so around 2,000km completed with only the 80km to Cairns tomorrow to complete. I'm getting a bit sore and bet I won't ride for a while when I return.

I got a nice shot of me in the DHBC jersey on the beach at Cardwell today with Hinchinbrook Channel in the background.
