I think we should have a BBQ on Wed 9th along-side and after training.
Everyone should come along.

All the weekends at the moment are booked up with State Champoinships and carnivals so we can't have an omnium, so lets do it on Wednesday!

We should all bring a plate of something. I'm thinking beetroot dip and crackers... I love beetroot!!!

Are you keen?

Tarts in dresses or tarts made in bakeries?

I feel we should warn Chrisitan's neighbours.

So is this the best the Social Committee could come up with for the DHBC Xmas party - Christian in a dress? What about if it rains? There's FA room at the track when it's wet ....

We will just have to huddle in between the toilets and the canteen, just like the rained out Omniums of past. Now seeing Christian in a dress...that has got to be worth some thing.

I don't believe the social committee has had anything to do with this one. I also won't be appearing in a dress due to the fact I don't own one.

OK - that was my dig at the Social Committee - when / where is the Xmas party or are we abandoning it for this year?

I heard rumour of an Xmas party at the track. But cookies, beer, beetroot and back to Christian's to see him don a dress and red stilettos is more than I could have dreamed of! See you all there! I'll bring ... something. Devils on horseback perhaps.

My original, AWESOME, cookie idea failed. So you have to settle for second best.

I trained for this on Monday night by eating pizza, cookies (the failed ones) and drinking beer. I think this means I'll be at peak performance tonight.

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder about tonights Christmas Party at Tempe Velodrome.

There will be the traditional BBQ (vegetarians bring your own) plus those who are bringing a plate of food to share.

Bring along your family and friends, show off your skills on the track and we'll have a fiesta.

See you all tonight!

Mate, I can carry a case on the rack on my Ducati - that's how I get them from the bottlo to home mostly ... but I'm cycling to avoid the RBT so will bring a 6 pack

Cyclists can also be RBTed and charged. Road rules apply to all road users.

Yes Weiyun I know that BUT, as we all know, there are many advantages of cycling including it being very, very unlikely that a cop will pull you over and breath test you and if you see a RBT station you can high tail it away far easier via any path possible :-) Plus, I'm not going to kill anyone by riding drunk, except possibly myself.

That was a fabulous BBQ, so much colourful food and happy faces, and food left over too!

Thanks Kevin for all your shopping and preparation, Stuart you certainly know how to work that BBQ, and the clean-up crew.

Thanks to everyone who came along and shared the christmas cheer, I've never had such a fun Wednesday night :)

I think we should have it after every training night. After all, everyone has to have dinner anyway. It's better to have it with the family. DHBC family that is!
