Hi

Anyone interested in entering a team in the Velogames Giro contest. In the past a number of have entered and I was thinking we could form an mini league. Velogames has no prize, just the glory.

I chucked a team together in a few minutes on friday night. Didn't have much time to analyse the course this year, but i'll soon find out how well i've selected.

This morning I discovered that SBS is doing a 10-15 minute wrapup of the previous day's stage each morning around 7.15am. Worth a look...

Use your team passcode to get to your team, under the riders list is mini-league manager, click add league, and enter league code.

Just found out you can enter the ex-cyclingnews fantasy game free for the Giro this year, no prizes, but there's still glory (plus you don't want the hassle of trying to get the prizes). Here's the link http://fantasy.cycling-games.com/game/

mmm... perhaps your view is different to mine, there is no "add league" on the page.

Do I need to register or something?

I've tried both the league name and the league code in the "find team" box

that's where you're going wrong, you have to put the passcode you got when you created your team into the find team box. The league code is only for when you are on your teams page and click add league.

You should have your own team, which needed to be entered before the Giro started. If you didn't enter a team you can't join the league, and will have to wait for the Tour.

For now i suggest you create a team on this site http://fantasy.cycling-games.com/game/ This year it seems you can basically have anyone you want due to the riders points being so low, but it's still hard to predict who is going to get you the most points. You have until before stage 7 to enter a team, plus you also have to select riders for each stage and overall competitions (eg. mountains, sprints, GC).
