Departing at 5.30am, Saturday 29/11/2014 from the Post Office Square, a ride through RNP entering at Audley, a detour via Garie Beach and onward to Otford and "The Wall", home via Helensburgh and the Old Princess Hwy.
Fast 28/cruisey middies pace, regrouping at the top of climbs, about 120 km we should be back in Marrickville well before noon.
Bring 2 bidons, 2 tubes, pump, food.
This is not a club sanctioned ride.

It says this on the RMS website:

"Allow extra travel time
Check signage
Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November
Lady Wakehurst Drive will be closed from the McKell Avenue/Sir Bertram Stevens Drive intersection to 2.2km south of the intersection. There will be a detour through Helensburgh in place. The detour for northbound traffic is via Otford Road, Parkes Street and Princes Highway. The southbound detour is via Princes Highway.

Thursday 27 and Friday 28 November
Garie Road will be closed between Sir Bertram Stevens Drive and Garie Beach. There will be no access to Garie Beach except for emergency vehicles. Access will be open to Garawarra Farm Road, Wattamolla Beach and Stanwell Park Beach."

So I think we should be fine with the road works, as long as they've finished doing Garie Beach. If not, maybe we can just do "The Wall" twice.
Looking forward to laying down some 'fresh tracks' on the new asphalt.

I need a big ride to clear the head. I am more likely to leave earlier and do a trip to macs pass and back. (I have a lot of crap to clear out of my head!).

But I might feel " lazy" and join for this. Or I might have to work again. Who the hell knows. Don't wait for me.

I'm a possibility but have to be back by 10:30am in time for a cooking class. So I might just go part of the way.

Iv'e been off the forum due to technical problems that till now have been beyond my comprehension. Missed this. Any one doing RNP tomorrow. Thought I might add Garrie beach or some such hill action to it. Bright is Looming and I ain't ready.

Adventure ride tomorrow (Sunday), Garie Beach is off the agenda - they've been working on the road and have left it with a gravel finish. One rider was sitting at the top with a broken derailleur hanger.
