Hi all,

Kerry and I are riding to Kurnell on Monday leaving Marrickville (usual ride start point) at 6.30am or meet us at corner of Bestic and West Botany Streets at 6.45am. All club members are welcome but please note this is not a club sanctioned ride.

The ride is no drop and roughly 25-27km cruiser pace. The ride is not a timed gran fondo or sufferfest or let's see who we can drop contest. It is a social leisurely ride to Kurnell, chance for a chat and to experience the joy of cycling.

Please ensure your bike has lights, spare tube and pump etc. as per any waterfall/club ride.

Cut and past the obligatory list if you intend to join us for a fun Monday morning cruise.

Hi Todd,
could my 16 YO daughter come on her flat bar commuter? She's not unfit and could ride the distance easily but I'm not sure of what pace she would hold and she has done no bunch riding.

Hi John,
Happy for your daughter to ride and I suggest the following:
As it is not a club ride and your daughter is a minor, her safety and wellbeing will be your responsibility. We can discuss the detail tomorrow morning but it would be best for her to ride at the back to start with and for you to ride with her and keep watch on her form etc.
Cheers,
Todd

Yes that's about what I was thinking, but I think we'll pass this time.

Nice ride Todd....

Thanks again to all who came along for a great morning ride with nice people.....

(I think the avg pace got thrown out the window a bit)

Cheers,
Steve.

Thanks guys - it was a great ride. Today's ride was Kerry's fastest ride to Kurnell.

Really enjoyed the ride - great weather and a great group of riders. We should definitely do this more often.
