I'm aiming to head out for an easy Sat morning ride (weather permitting). Is anyone else doing likewise? I'd like to hit the road by 6am but must be back home by 10ish) Flexible on direction though.

i'm planning this
http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/176356268
debating on what ferry i want to catch. the 7:30 or the 9 from palm beach. so i may be on the road @ 4:30 or 6 it just depends on who tags along (so far no one, so 4:30 is looking like a winner)

Kurnell sounds good. Any other takers? I'm really not keen on getting on the bike at 4.30am....

Assuming its not wet I might be up for a Kurnell speed session (or easier ride) on Saturday - but I'd want to be back at cafe no later than 9:30am

...fine, it's good to be on the bike that time of the morning. 165+ is a great number for base k's. I guess i'll just drink coffee on my own

Leave at 6 and I'm back by 9:30 even when dawdling. And given I'm planning 110km on Friday, and then trying to hang on to you, James, Phillip and Noel on Sunday, I'm up for a cruise. On my own I normally cruise at around 28 for Kurnell.

Others can go faster if they want. Happy to just to cruise to Kurnell with the voices in my head.

So. If I cruise past the cafe at 6 tomorrow (sat), will anyone be joining me for some base kms to Kurnell?

More than likely.

Had a few wines tonight after an exhausting week but will be there at 6am - unless I get lucky tonight.

Peace.

I'm opting for a 1pm roll to finish @ Heffron for RBCC Crit @3pm. All are welcome to join but let me know so i stop at MRC. I'd love some others in C Grade to work some tactics. It's tough being the sole red jersey....

And all that grog made you forget what base is. Did you outrun the hangover this morning?

I made it to Dawes Point by 9 to drop of my daughter at choir practice. Maximum bonus points.

Great ride guys, you were really hammering the pace, my legs were burning all the way there.

This was the reward. Got to the headland just as the sun peeked over the horizon.

Great shot Philip.

I had to miss the ride this morning to prepare for a 7 yr old's birthday party - groan...

Why don't I ever look that majestic or ernest in any photos?
