After seeing the disappointing result of the photo I took using Eleri's camera this morning, I hope to make up for this by including some better photos.
However, these do not include the Airbus 380 that MAY have been visible in the original bodyless heads pic.

For those interested in the MC Cyclery Thur Watsons Bay ride, there's a been some changes to the bunch.

"beginning this Thursday, the ride will feature a first and second group start. For those of you feeling flirty and looking for a quick and snappy ride, the first group will leave promptly at 6:15am. The second group will leave promptly at 6:20am and will be ridden at a more reasonable no drop pace, picking up any riders who fell off the first group."

Although, if the numbers are low, they will revert to the one bunch intermediate 'no drop' format.

Thanks for the info Stuart.

It’s a bit quiet at work at the moment so I might give this ride a go tomorrow and see how the other half live.

Not sure if I’ll be up for the flirty, snappy group at this point. Christmas cheer for me has started early.

@Jonboy, they only tried it for one week. Last week we were back to one bunch and wait at the top of the climbs for the slow riders (me). As soon as I arrive they take off which is great for my training. So, if you're coming tomorrow (20th) be there for 6:15, although they almost never leave on time :-)

Where and when does the MC ride start. I know it's posted here somewhere but it's hiding from me. I'm trying to angle for another leave pass, if successful I'll see you tomorrow.

The Wednesday ride will start at 7am on Boxing Day.

No need to get up quite so early as surely most won't be rushing off to work, but we'll still get in early.

Who's in?

I'll be there with my little brother in tow (well he's younger than me).

Weather is looking good in the morning so see you there! Sadly, we'll be missing Greg on tommorrows ride who's been a regular since the ride began. We'll be thinking of him and his family as he continues with his recovery.

Earlier that same morning...

Despite the abundance of ships to use as background for the shot, it was decided to send a special shout out to Greg in recovery.

So here's to you Greg, the Wednesday Morning Crew all screaming your name out at La Perouse.

That's really super dancing guys. You have got the Lycra and the "Y" down pat.
So next comes the "M", the "C" and finally the "A". All that is left is a bit of spray tan and a hint of glitter.

Only 345 sleeps to Mardi Gras 2014! Soooooooo excited........

Hey check out the two photos of today's ride - how many people are in both?? Two maybe? (Looks like we progressed to having an A team who ride out to La Perouse & dance, and B team who take over when it comes to sitting around drinking coffee and talking about shoes & cleats.)

And that's why I don't ride in the door zone...
