Racing (for both sexes) with SUVelo

It is with great delight that SUVelo would like to announce the commencement of a new club racing opportunity on the Sydney calendar.

The first race will be on Sunday 26 February at Heffron Park with sign on starting at 7am, entry $10. It is our anticipation that this will be a regular monthly occurrence with the aim to increase the frequency with time.

One particular initiative that we are proud to introduce is a women's specific grade.

To begin with the gradings will be as follows:

Mens C, D and Womens A grade from 7.30am
Mens A, B grade from 8.20am

When: Sunday 26 February, 7am
Where: Heffron Park
What: Graded Criterium

So, the women just get one grade? Why not have 3 grades but put all riders on the track at the same time. More incentive surely?

I think they said it was numbers pending. I guess they don't want 4 or 5 girls showing up and having 3 grades. Surely they will get enough for at least two grades, there are more and more (fast) women who show up for group rides every week.

This sounds good, I might hit it up one time.
