To avoid disappointment you could always ride the Fitz's course twice in one go!

Did the ACE 250 a couple of years ago. Great ride but there are a few uphill sections that are just plain horrible for a non climber like me. The mental scars must have healed enough for me to be keen to do it all over again. Either that its early onset dementia.

Some people I know were talking about doing a 250 day on dirt, on the same day as Fitz's using the checkpoints. I reckon I'll be in for that if it goes ahead Might take a bit longer than the roadie version though...
