Where are the Police when you need them!!

Scene: Taylor Square about 7.15 am this morning. Turning right from Oxford Street to Flinders Street.

Police car turns at the same time and moves ahead to a group of taxis parked illegally in Flinders Street and flashes it lights to get them to move on. I am cycling in the middle lane when one taxi pulls out with out looking and makes me stop, I shout at the drover "Look!" which he naturally ignores. We all know that story it has happened to all of us many a time.

Next thing there is a wail from the police siren followed by the police car following the said taxi and pulling in over in a side street. I felt a lot better!


For the scientist in the group a classic example of cause and effect.
