B = Christian, Ian D, Mike C

Spectator
Julian

Outcome
D = Congratulations Victoria 4th, Congratulations Maneule 3rd - great podium result Maneule
C = Micklan 1st = ($40)
B = Christian & Ian D - not sure. Mike C - sweeping

C grade report - it came down to the sprint...again... Couldn't sustain breakaways. Post race, The Dream Police, said I'm for B grade as I'm not beatin anyone here matie. Anyway did a few leads, and the solid RBCC riders also did a lot of work. Av near to 37kmph. Attacked prior to the squircle on last lap and didn't take a seat until after the finish line. 2nd & 3rd place riders were very close to me, as I could see their shadows for the length of the straight. Thanks for a great ride - its a top local derby.

$40 winnings
Were taken as x 3 Hahn light beers each by Mike C & Micklan

Place a report if you wish :o

The Heffron Report from a D grade perspective - Good turn out today and the weather was perfect. Sat comfortablely near the front for most of the 12 laps. Not sure if we were faster than usual or that c grade was slower but on I think 4 laps to I streamed ahead and caught the c grade bunch and was in two minds whether to overtake or sit behind with a gap between us so I slowed up a bit and the rest of the bunch caught up to me but we ended up overtaking anyway. I think that if I overtook c grade the first time I would of won it but that's racing. Victoria sat on my wheel the rest of the way but I out powered her on the final straight. (Sorry Victoria) All in all a good afternoon racing. Until the next one :)

You'll love B grade, its two laps longer. I was hurting today, the average was 39km/h.

I had no chance for a sprint finish. I was at my limit as we came into the home straight... Thanks for pacing me home Manuel. I might have been sitting on your wheel but it was hard work! You would have won if the others were relegated for drafting the other grade, btw ;)

I think you would do pretty well in C grade. You did a lot of work and I suspect you can probably work even harder than that.

Fantastic strategy! Do everything to shove your competitions to the next grade. ;)

Great racing and report everyone, especially Mick for picking up the trophy in C.

It was odd at one stage as we C, had ovetaken D on the straight, then a splinter group of D overtook C, then we overtook D again. At one stage B, C & D was on the straight at once :wink: C's av speed I thought ok - C was ovetaken by B once, it was however a relatively windless day.

Windless? Dammit! Should have went... Rather than sitting around waiting for an auction.

The problem is that in order to boxing other riders one must release the handle bars and there in lies the conundrum :twisted:
