For those who are not aware, Eugene decided to ride to Tasmania by Penny Farthing.
He has reached Goulbourne so far and still going.
Lets hope he gets a tail wind.

he is a brave brave man, who is soon to have a very sore bottom. I wish him the best of luck.

I'm in Benalla today Saturday. J+J+S+T were on top of Hotham approx 9am waiting for H + L.
I did an easy 40k ride starting pennying 4:45 at Wangaratta; I'm quite addicted to penny nightriding; it's truely exhilirating. All country road so I make slalom training with the roadmarkes plus start training in the middle of shooting Glenrowan. True, the bottom is sore but just manageable and little price for the communication I get wherever I go; even paparazis.
Penny goes all right, down one spoke which now 'transmits' through cable ties found on the road just next to the incident site!
Also my penny is now a business item, as a Wangaratta client of mine (Parker Hannifin) emailed for help and I was there the next day by big wheel. The workers knew already as they saw me on the front page of the Border Mail newspaper the same day.
Jumped in the Murry and Oven Rivers with full clothes, dry in 5!
Hope somebody will give me company next time and next time is not far away because it's phantastic.
No panniers but I know no how to handle that next; and it will make ordinary tourers very envious...!
