Hi All,

Firstly, a big thanks you to John Caley, Douglas Kirkham and Alison Wallace for running the training sessions while I was away.

It’s now only 9 weeks until the 2017 track season starts and quite a few of you will be moving up to the next age group.
This will require a change in rollout gearing. I am happy to chat with you about the changes required over the next few weeks.

I have sent out for Expressions of Interest to eligible to rides for the National Junior Track Series, Round 1. I hope to hear back from thous interested very soon.

The weather was not great on Wednesday night but training was on. We ran though some off the bike exercises as well as working on pedalling technic and speed.
Don’t let the rain discourage you from coming to training. The more the merrier

Hi, I sent an email off yesterday, but may as well ask here... just wondering at what age juniors would normally start? Kids are 8 and 6. Both can ride well and after seeing my eldest ride around Newcastle Crit track for 10km in 30 degree heat, he may be interested in trying things more if it is worthwhile.
