ANZAC day Carnival 2016 at Bowral

The weather was perfect and the DHBC riders (and sort-of DHBC riders) had a great carnival, from Isla taking part in her first carnival to Lizanne setting the womens flying 200 record for the track. Great to see Charlotte, Will and Caitlin giving it their best shot and Luke battling Adrian for supremacy of the under 15s. Mel Gibson (soon to be DHBC once we get her transfer organised) had a great night placing in a few races including the womens ANZAC day memorial wheel race. Mens Div 3 was fast - I didn't even manage to qualify for the mens wheelrace and I felt sorry for Dougie who it turns out was not far behind me. I'm glad I wasn't put in Div 2 with Bat Ildhirim and Ben Fox, while Bro had his work cut out racing in Div 1 against the likes of Tirian McManus, Tom Lynch and Zac Marshall and raced heroically in the final scratch race for 3rd. For those who haven't ridden track, this is what it's all about. You get to ride a bunch of races, watch a heap of racing up close and cheer on your team mates. Great stuff. Photos please
