Hi All,

We had 18 rider this session

Welcome back Adam with his new Fiji classic

After a safety chat with all, it was into individual warm ups and then rolling paceline drills

Next we tackled a 2 group catch the bunch. two groups at rolling around the track at the same speed, with a rider sprinting from one group to the back of the other group. We got through each rider having 2 plus times.

Next racing with Keirin, First group A. Lizanne as the Derny @ 22kph. 3 laps with the Derny pulling off at 1.5 laps. Some excellent racing as all vied for position, once Lizanne dropped away Claude went on the attack from the get go but Adam lined him up in and on the last turn preformed a perfect passing maneuver, coming around Claude, to win on the line.

Next Group B, 4 laps with 2 behind the Derny @ 25kph. Again all vied for position and followed the Derny. Once Lizanne pulled off, it was on. Of note were Adrien for leading the bunch all the way and Sarah riding high and around the outside to come second.

The last Keirin were group C, this time 3 laps Derny and 3 laps sprint. Broughton powered home followed by Taku. Tess and Rohan fort it out for the miner placing’s with Rohan just getting the better of Tess.

We finished the session with a 2 line Motor Pace with James and myself on the front. We slowly gained speed as riders dropped off the back until no one was following.
