Hi All,

Just a quick news letter this week, man cold!

OK, we had 18 riders. School holidays over and back into the normal routine.
Welcome back to Luke and Sarah and a new recruit, Isaac Sharwood who will remember to keep one hand on the bars at all times for beginners.

A slow start as all bikes were shuffled around till everyone had a bike. Ruby’s injured shoulder stop her session early, get better soon.

Good to see Michelle came down for a look and help out.

First was individual warm ups and then Paceline drills

Then an all in 16 lap scratch race with 15 riders. Not too sure of the results on this one but everyone completed the 16 laps and was great seeing the track filled with riders.

James and John then ran win & outs, 3 groups of about 4 riders.

House keeping

Please put your bike away on the racks in the bike store. There were a few just left in the middle on the floor.

Racing

Sorry for the short notice, Lidcombe Auburn CC’s Spring/Summer Track Racing starts tonight out at Lidcombe Oval Velodrome, Wyatt Park Gates open at 6pm, Junior racing at around 6:30. See http://tinyurl.com/LACCTrack for more details. Maybe not tonight but over the next few weeks we go out as a team to participate.

Tomorrow and Sunday the National Junior Track Series starts out at Dunc Gray Velodrome. Racing starts at 2pm tomorrow and 10am Sunday so if you have a change come along and support Taku Rogers, Broughton Caley and Tom Bolton as they compete against rider form all over Australia in U15 and U17 events. See http://www.cycling.org.au/?ID=47571 for the event schedule.

Birthdays

This week, Happy Birthday to Sarah, have a great day!!

Thanks the James, John and Michelle

Till next week

Colin
