Hey Dulwich Hill,

Dulwich Hill had a great winter season at RAW and I had so much fun riding with you guys that I can't neglect you when we're about to have so much more fun.

I'm LACC's Track VP this year and we're starting up our track training and racing on the 12th of October. That's this week! We're offering racing for juniors and seniors and we're trying something a little different this year to try to accommodate all of the racers and racing a bit better.

We also offer programmed training on Tuesdays for juniors and Wednesdays for seniors. While racing is the best way to get better at racing, the second best way is to train on the track. However, if you're training on the track without a plan, then you're just riding in circles (almost literally). Come and train with our coaches and become a better track, and road, cyclist.

We know from the past that Dulwich Hill is well represented on the track with both juniors and seniors and we'd love it if you would come and race with us. New riders are also welcome and encouraged, I was a new rider at the beginning of last year and track racing was the best introduction to the whole sport of cycling. Here's an article I wrote about that experience that you may wish to share with your people: http://www.bicycles.net.au/2011/02/gett ... k-cycling/

Gates open on Friday night at 6pm, starting with Junior racing at around 6:30 and then Seniors at 7:30. More details at http://tinyurl.com/LACCTrack

Cheers,
David Halfpenny
