Tomorrows Masters Track race has $1000 prize money.

From Paul's email;

M.o.T.o.R
(Masters only Track Racing)
Is proud to present: this Wednesday night:
The Waratah Vets $1000
"MASTER of MASTERS"
Wheel Race
Who is the best Master?
The fastest master I have seen in recent times is Victoria’s Darren King but how does he compare to current three time world record holder Keith Oliver, who is 66 years old and for that matter how do they both compare to Michelle King?
It is always difficult to compare, but that is exactly what we plan to do this Wednesday at the DGV. Who is the best master handicap for age?
To sweeten the deal, Waratah Vets have put up $1000 cash to add to the prestige of winning the Master of Masters Wheel Race.

The Procedure
* Round 1 (scratch race) of M.o.T.o.R on Wednesday 10th of October 2007 will be in age categories
* First and second from each age cat in each Scratch race will qualify for the Wheel-Race
* No substitute riders
* Round 2 on Wednesday will be “The Waratah Vets $1000 MASTER of MASTERS -Wheel Race” over 2000m
* 1st Prize = $500 cash
* 2nd Prize = $250 cash
* 3rd Prize = $125 cash
* 4th Prize = $75 cash
* 5th prize = $50 cash
Handicaps for “The 2000m Waratah Vets $1000 MASTER of MASTERS -Wheel Race” are Masters 1 0m thru Masters 9 225m with Womans Masters getting different handicaps

Other Races
* Round 1: Scratch Race (age divisions)
* Round 2: Waratah Vets Master of Masters Wheel Race
* Round 3: Pursuits
* Round 4: Scratch Race 10km
* Round 5: Team Sprint (time permitting)

* M.o.T.o.R has been very successful preparation for the World Championships to those who have participated
* Each week we have had riders fly down from Brisbane to take advantage of this fantastic concept
* Whilst the racing has been great, numbers have been low with each week attracting around 30 riders
* I am hoping the final week has the numbers it deserves.

Cheers Paul
