Lionel Cox memorial sprint derby - omnium. Racing will commence with a flying 200m TT to rank riders from fastest to slowest. Riders will then be put up against other riders of a similar speed in a tournament styled mactch sprint (1 on 1) competition. Overall winner will be crowned sprinter of the year

Where: Tempe Velodrome
When: Saturday 09/04/2010
What Time: 4pm, following the women's event at 2pm
Who can race: Anyone with a racing licence, this is essential for insurance. However racing will be relaxed and catering for all levels of racers, from beginners through to experienced regulars. All are welcome!!!

Post omnium we will be heading to the German club for Birthday celebration drinks for Lindsay Munks!!!!

***Racing subject to the booking of the velodrome and sancion from cycling nsw, which should not be a problem but yet to be confirmed

thats the spirit Alex! there will be a few people missing at mountain bike races, so every one should turn up in the persuit of a possible Lional Cox medal (note: there is no actual medal)
