i think its tempe, but there is one in brisbane with the same track etc etc plan from what i hear, so there would be a chance of others in the world. It looks a bit dark for tempe, but its supposed to be ten years ago.

I am pretty sure thats the Chandler Sleaman Centre Velodrome in brisbane, the british track team trained there before the sydney oly's and the worlds the year before (according to chris hoys biography). I lived in a house backing onto the centre and would jump the fence and go around the blue with my TT bike. The track and swimming centre were made for the 1982 Commonweath games is set in bushland and is an awesome track to ride on. The centre also has a 2k ring road that they do running races and crits on. (they also use the carpark for old school rollerskate races...so 70s)

It's Tempe in my opinion, but the track sure looks cleaner now. I think the giveaway is the touch football markings in the infield.

the upper line colour in the inline skate video is blue, where in the Lee Evans video its white. Could depend on when the lines were repainted

It has not escaped my attention that there are people within the Club who have tendencies towards Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I include myself, since I don't seem to be able to leave this question alone.

In the grandstand at Dunc Grey, there are seats which are yellow and others that are brown, and the pattern is not completely rational, especially in the top row of seats. What you see in the video:

Image

Is exactly the same pattern as at Dunc Grey. Even if they worked from the same template of a velodrome in Qld, surely that pattern is an accident of what was available for seat-colours:

Just to put an solid end to the question

This was filmed at Tempe Velodrome and I knew a number of guys in the little bunch
A good friend there told me the filming was very adlib and unpredictable.

filmed in 1999/2000 for a series of ads for Addidas

No that's Huw Morgan. Those were the days of the great duels we had at Tempe in our omniums. He has his gold hubbed deep V wheels on. Great fun!!!!
