G'day all. After a very successful night last night at the opening round of RAW, I've decided to run the DHBC raw point score challenge again. This is an independent point score of the actual RAW point score with only DHBC riders involved. It encourages people to ride up in higher grades but was won last year by the mid grades with Shaun Colley and Jo Troutman winning the mens and womens respectively. They both each got a skinsuite made up with their acomplishment on it. This year will hopefully be similar, I will have to look atthe finances but will hopeflly again be able to offer a winners Jersey to both the first male and first female. Here's how the scoring works:

The DHBC Series / Pointscore

The Point score System

Riders receive 10 points for Participation (showing up, 10 points per week)
Riders receive Bonus for competing in higher grade
Div 1 = 1.5 bonus
Div 2 = 1 bonus
Div 3 = 0.5 bonus
Div 4 = 0 bonus
Div 5 = 0 bonus
Rounds Three and Four will score 5,3,2 and 1 point for the a top 4 places
Riders can miss 2 weeks (you receive 10 points)

The system is relatively basic & you'll all get the idea once it starts... Whe Crafty posts the first lot of results I will put it up.

Cheers Simon.

Unfortunately you don't get points for placing in the Novice division Ian. This encourages you to step up to Div 5 when you are ready :)

What does (F.O.C) mean ?

i think it means freedom of choice & indicates crafty did not choose for them to be in that grade.

Is it true you get points for turning up? I am sick as a dog and probably not fit enough to race tomorrow but I want to get the points.

Hey DHBC Forumites

At last Friday's TWE wheel-Race pesentation I made an error (wow is that unusual)
I awarded Darren Cash the 2nd place prize incorrectly. John (annoying) Ngyuen actually placed 2nd!
John I owe you a set of track Gloves (not Raw Gloves) to balance the equation.

cheers paul
