Good to see mat down at tempe!
Thanks Tim, it was great to have a good go at the track for the first time and especially good to have the opportunity to get so much good advice and support from lindsay, simon and yourself. It can be a bit daunting to do something new when your not sure what all the rules are. Its also good to have a whole new area of cycling to learn and develop in.
man youll love the track, i sorta took up road a bit and lost interest, but then jumped on the track and havent really looked back.
You dont have to race, but if you do the races are lotsa different events that dont go for as long and are different things like the last person is out etc. And if you go badly in one you wait for the next one and try again, as you get a few goes at each event, which isnt like the road where you turn up to one event and if you are behind every one you dont see them again for ages (lol well actually i guess heffron isnt like that, but you can still do heffron every week as well as track).
And no cars!!
