Fulcrum PRC wheels accept an 11 cog cassette?

I migrated this thread over from the Road section to this one. My original query related to this:

"I am after some budget but good quality aluminum clincher training wheels to suit a modern 11-cog RD set up.
Mainly used for some Saturday Slowies and Waterfall runs. I was thinking of something along the lines of a Fulcrum Quattro wheelset. However I notice Wiggle doesn't appear to stock them anymore (superceded?).
Appreciate any suggestions?"

I have since limited my options to either the Fulcrum Quattro ($360ish) or maybe Campagnolo Scirocco 35 ($300ish) wheelsets.
However this morning I was offered on Facebook a set of Fulcrum PRC wheels for only $150. Googled them but little to no direct info on this PRC model. It appears to have been built around 2011 or 2012. My concern is that it wouldn't fit my newer 11 speed cassette for the Ultegra Di2 system.
The seller claims the PRC requires a 1mm spacer which he insists means will accept a larger 11 cog set up. Any comments on this?

For $150 I'd buy them anyway. If the 11-speed doesn't fit, I'll but them off you for $150 :D

Or you could try your 11 speed cassette on my Fulcrum 5s - they require a 1mm spacer too. They probably have the same freewheel body.

I won't comment on the ability to convert (I believe it can be done) but do you mind if I ask why you would put 5 year old wheels on your brand new bike?

Hi Jo. 5 year old but the seller claims it was hardly used. He upgraded it to better wheels pretty much immediately. As for why i am looking? I have rather expensive carbon wheels on my present machine. They are Giant PSLR0 carbon (with alu brake tracks) wheels with 55mm aero rims. They are actually designed and built by DT Swiss and upon checking their website, the ones that resemble (?) my Giant wheels most costs about $1,500 at Wiggle. Therefore not keen to use these as everyday training wheels. Prefer to keep them for better occasions.

Thanks for the info Tim. In 2 minds. Was actually thinking of getting the Fulcrum Quattro's in the low $300s. Semi aero with 35mm rims. And I know they will fit the bike and may actually look the part. Decisions, decisions.

Bought them yesterday. If they don't fit, I'll pass them to you Tim. :)
