"Most Improved Enduro Masters"

I might have "Enduro Master" tattooed across my back in gothic script, then sell my bike, retire to the couch, get really fat and regale all with stories of my good old days.

Thanks, I'm really touched.

Re: Waratah Vets Tempo Cup Eastern Ck Sun 16th Dec

Thanks Stuart. I think I get it, though it sounds rather chaotic. So if all grades start together does that mean there is effectively one race? Or more correctly multiple races but all run concurrently. I imagine slipstreaming other grades is a no no. Are we colour coded? I usually ride with the mid...

Re: Adventure Ride - Akuna Bay West Head - 6am July 15 - its

You guys certainly went the long way, with some detours even. Well done all. Remind me never to go on an adventure ride when Mike is captain.
I thought the fixie might slow him down.... I was wrong.

Great ride with a really good group.

Re: Fitz's challenge rides in October

Excellent, the more wheels I can cling to the better. Having said that though, I may still chicken out. 3300m is an awfully big number. They say it's the same as the sea to the top of Mt Kosciuszko and then half that again. I must be sick. How many laps of Akuna bay do I have to do to climb 3300m......

Fitz's challenge rides in October

Anyone thinking of doing one of these rides, or has anyone done one before.
I'm thinking of having a crack at the 205km one, 3300m of climbing, sounds like
fun.

if we ride on the 8th put me down. I'll also put a vote in for West Head and/or Akuna Bay.
Love the riding out that way. By then I may even be able to keep up.

While it damn near killed me it was a great ride, thanks for leading and organising.

Note to self, three weeks off the bike followed by 155km and 1500 vertical meters is not a good idea.

I have found Bikerepairs.com in Murry St Marrickville to be pretty hopeless, I now trek into City Bike Depot in the city. They deal in Canondales so I trust them to know what they are doing with my Cannon, and they have been really great!

If you want, you can drive next to me up any hill and take photos. I hit max hr with unparalleled ease. Provided you have a car that can go this slowly.
Will I need a car? I could just walk backwards up the hill while shooting. ;)

Roller Questions?

What are the pros and cons of rollers vs trainers? Are the rollers with resistance worth the extra money? and can you get up to anaerobic levels on them? To background these questions, I have an idea for a series of photographs, which if I go ahead with require me to buy, beg, borrow or steal some r...

And who is currently the second fastest DHBC rider on Artillery Hill? None other than Justin B, so watch your back fella! ;)
