Despite my 'suitcase of pain' including two legs that don't work properly any more, a 1500 watt glow from the sunburn and a blown blood vessel in the eye, I had a great ride with a great bunch of people. Thanks Mike and Weiyun, esp for keeping the young guns in hand early on and leaving some fuel in...

The cute bird outside the Cafe today

Damn, your quick Mike! Here's a bird whispering in Lindsay's ear outside the Adult Bookstore! http://i741.photobucket.com/albums/xx52/icarswell/LindsayBird01.jpg Stop it baby! You're jokes are killing me! http://i741.photobucket.com/albums/xx52/icarswell/LindsayBird02.jpg G getting head from the sam...

As per Mick's question p7, 12 started the RNP ride. Less 2 drops, 10 finished. As per stu's comment that it was a middies ride, I tend to concur in that when i have ridden with the middies, there is usually a concerted acceleration up the hill at Kiora Rd, just before Kingsway, and then the pace inc...

Final note before bed... :D If what you say is true, and the license is half a 12 month license ($99) and I already have paid $66, then I can race for the rest of the year for $33, less than the cost of a day license. Just have to wait till next month's race. We are having one next month, aren't we?

So, that's probably why there's always a bottleneck with getting your license ticket. They have to process everyone at the end of the year, rather than from when you actually pay your money. I'm sure there must be a reason to do it that way.... On the site it says that it is 'discounted'. I'...

That's a pity. I was looking forward to seeing what it was all about! I notice that cycling nsw have six month racing licences as a discount option, but they don't start till June. If, say, I raced once a month, missing only one race, that would be $175 total at $35 per day license (but then I would...

Thanks Weiyun, Tim and Mark for looking after us all. Pity the photos don't seem to prove our story about the rain, being so heavy n' all... but it's true! I really enjoyed this ride. They probably wouldn't like a big bunch of us catching the ferry, but it was very civilised and still much harder th...

Well, it's an Italian bike, so I assume Italian. I asked John at Ashfield Cycles about this and he seemed to indicate that it didn't matter. Is this the case?

Thanks for that Toff. Let me know when you're letting your stuff go.

I guess I can always put a new groupset on if I have to. My main lookout is for a complete headset, as I believe that Campy don't do the 1" threaded anymore. I may be forced onto ebay yet!

Toff, I'm looking for a campy groupset from the same era (80-90s) rather than a new set. Do you have any clues where a feller would start looking in Sydney? (rather than ebay etc - which is all a bit hit and miss, not knowing the market.....)

I can't do anything right today it seems. That previous post should read "NOT definitely decided on the colour", though the coppi is pretty delicious. I went over to the Canterbury Road chromeworks, but it's just a hole in the ground. They're developing the site. I had to take the frame ov...

Thanks for remembering Toff!

That chrome certainly does look sweet. The red finishing really adds to the aesthetic too.

Hmmm.... what to do

Like they say, not really a trainer!
