Thanks everyone, what a great ride... great group, great hills. I scored 22 pr's so I think that means it was a good pace, or else it means I was slacking off every other time l rode it. Keeping up with Alex and Christian was challenging but in a good way. Also got home in time to do the school drop...

Re: DHBC to crowdfund a recumbent trike for rehab
I'm always a fan of the simplest solutions. Can I just deposit a donation into the club account and mark it Trike. If that will work let me know and I'll start the ball rolling... or the wheel rolling... or the three wheels rolling, as the case may be.

Rapha Rising
I want a patch! A real one, one that I can show my grandkids. http://app.strava.com/challenges/rapha-rising-2013
So the question is where are the best long climbs within easy reach of Sydney. I don't mind having to drive to the start. Any one care to join me?

What I did on the weekend: Hello class, on the weekend I did my first road race on a bicycle. I had some fun and saw lots of cows and a few angry men on bikes who liked to shout and tell everyone what to do. If one day you also do a bike race I think you should stay near the riders in the red and wh...

Having Simon, Mark, Noel and James only 5 minutes behind me is making me nervous already! And on top of that I'm in a bunch with John Mason, who can always beat me in a sprint and up hills... Keep a seat for me in the bus will you Dougie.

What does "graded scratch" mean? Does the fact I don't know mean I shouldn't do it? I'm assuming "enduo" means it's a long race, is there more to it than that.
