Re: Get ready to register for Ken Dinnerville race 29th 9am!

Mike, thanks but I have some very special magic heel wedging and cleat shimming stuff happening with my shoes that I don't want to disturb. Doesn't matter anyway, just tried my shoes on again and although one of the buckles is broken it still works, just the nice little lever part that's snapped off...

Re: Centennial park proposed works

The design of the grand drive is completely backwards, parking should be along the outside edge, then the road, then the cycleway, then the footpath which should be separated from the road and cycleway by a waist high barrier and there should be footbridges to get into and out of the centre of the p...

Was he wearing a black helmet and riding an un-labled raw carbon bike? If so it was me. I was there when they had the cameras out two weeks ago, was meaning to watch it today but forgot :(

EDIT: Just had a look at the online video and yeah I saw a few glimpses of myself.

Re: Bicycle parking at Ashfield 'Carnival of Cultures', 18 M

I was there for a little while around lunch, didn't spot any DHBC people but I did had a chat to some of the AshBUG people I ride with from time to time who were manning the valet bicycle parking. Was a pretty good local carnival IMO, don't think I'd been there since I was a kid.

Equal blame goes to me who saw the sign but wasn't sure if it was the correct route :P

My Garmin says:

Total distance : 113.64 km
Average speed : 27.5 kph
Elevation gain : 1051 meters

Rode the Tuesday night race at Heffron today, it's a handicap so there is actually a level of cooperation at the front and more of a reason to take turns but in a normal graded race just play to your strengths.
