120 laps of Tempe velodrome. This is a good chance for strong riders who don't normally ride track to get some experience on a velodriome and clock up a few km.

Tempe 120 lapper 3rd Monday of the month

No rain. Just 5 riders on a dry Tempe velodrome. We averaged almost 40km/h for 1 hr but I have some novel muscle aches as I'm sure the others do. Same again 3rd Monday of next month.

Looking forward to the first Mid-month Monday marathon at track this coming Monday, and then every 3rd Monday of the month. Riders who drop off the main paceline will form a second paceline above the once-was-blue line. Make sure you have a comfy saddle and maybe some chamois cream

While we are clarifying laws, there is a rule you must to use an adjacent cycle lane where available. However, Carrington Rd cycleway is not a lane and therefore you are not required to use it. Hi Matt I think we've only missed 2 nights in the past year. In general it will be on regardless of the weather. The rollers sessions are suitably punishing where the aim is to generate the largest pool of sweat.

I need a sturdy 27" rear road wheel for the our old National Panasonic steely which is going to my 107kg brother. Current wheel has a 6 speed freewheel cluster on it.

Just clarifying, you need a Gold Licence on the day to race. If you have a silver (Recreational) Licence, you can purchase a gold day licence for aprox $35 together with your online entry and pick up before the race ( allow a bit of extra time).
