we haven't been to the one in sydney, but martin who has says it's of the same standard.
the dishes we had were fantastic. my nephew works as a chef at jimmy likks in potts point and they view longrain as competition. after eating at both, i think longrain is definitely in front.

The alarm went off at 4.30am as we had to be at the start for 5.30. We were with Martin and another tandem couple we know from Coff's who were riding their Santana. The start was very slow as were at walking pace for the first few kms as when the lights changed red it would take a while to get going...

Slowies is a great introduction to riding in a group and for learning road and bike skills. Most of the ride is on road with the majority being quiet back streets except for a short stretch on Enmore Rd on the way there. As this section is done at about 6.45 cars aren't a problem. We didn't get up until late and took the dogs for a walk for some exercise.

What's a train??

Atrain is something that is more expensive than a plane so we'll be flying down via virgin.
$140 each way per person by train.

I just did some calc and as I only have a 49 on the front I am limited to an 88.2 or a 94.5.

From what I've read, the Swiss Stop yellow pads are the best and work equally well on carbon or aluminium. Marian has them on her road bike and they seem to be wearing ok.

I dont think it was the wheel flexing, just the tyre.
Wheels looked like 48h Dyads which are normally used as a tandem touring rim.
