Ok...I've tentatively booked 6 ensuite rooms (2-3 people per room @$80 each incl. breakfast) for the 31st of October . There are a few more rooms available so if we're quick I can snatch those up as well It's up to Simon, but I guess the first 12 or so people who confirm on the forum, get the rooms....

Hey guys I have 2 potential dates; 17th & 31st of October?

We probably need to book this week. Apparently the accomodation is already booking out.
I'd prefer the 31st. The 17th is only a week after the Scott 24hr. I'm not sure my body could take two consecutive weekends of punishment.

The SRAM 1090R has holes in the link plates and the 1090 doesn't. I think you save about 10g, so you're paying around $3/g. For mountain biking, I think as long as your chain is nickel plated, you should be alright. The chain's usually only getting wet in puddles and river crossings anyway, so it's ...

If I want to ride DGV on Friday night, I need some new tyres. I've been told the current ones on the bike aren't going to be suitable for riding that track (not sticky enough).
They need to be smaller than 23's too. We tried Christian's training wheels on Victoria's bike and his 23's were too fat.
