I have Aw-Ups that flash. It's a bit annoying switching from steady to flash though. I think they are best for seeing in the dark. I have a small Knog that I use as a flashing light. If I was you, I would invest in a rechargeable flashing light rather than upgrade the battery.

Re: Christmas Holiday Rides and the Rapha Festive 500

Is the Wednesday LaPa ride happening on New Years Day or only the EB 5 Hills ride?
Colin, I'm in Mudgee but I reckon it will happen and especially so if people just turn up!

Re: Christmas Carnivals - Tempe 28th December Entries & vols

So many highlights of that carnival - it was just great. And nicely capped off by a win in the Madison from Alex and Tom who seemed to come from last to first in the send half of the race. Really well ridden and a comfortable win in the end. We were all screaming ourselves hoarse up in the stands! B...

Thanks Justin and Dougie - look me up when you get there and I'll give you a job.

Does anyone have an RSA (besides Dougie) licence? and is willing to help out for a couple of hours from say 6 or 7?

A double double bonanza this morning near Wests on Liverpool Road at Ashfield.

Saw Richard chasing down Simone first; then about 15 seconds later Karzie and a mate, both in DHBC kit heading towards the city.

Weather report looking positive. James says the track is dry and the forecast is for fine weather in the afternoon and it will be about 20 degrees.

There's going to be a headwind on the front straight.

See you all there!

Re: Newcastle Overnight - Saturday 16th November

I didn't wear club colours last year. I seem to have worn one of my daggier jerseys, mostly because it was touring cut and therefore had more capacious pockets (not much pocket real estate on a XXS race-cut jersey).

BTW - ahem, Camilla and I have piked. We don't have any waterproof mascara.
