If we're keen for some black on our rears and want something a bit more dynamic we can just insert some black panels thusly: http://i680.photobucket.com/...

I haven't entered this yet but will do so before the cutoff. If it stops raining between now and then I might even get some training in.

Yeah it was pretty quick. As James said there wasn't really any shelter in the front group through the middle of the race and we were really motoring. It didn't help that I dropped my chain but by 70km I'd been working the whole way and was starting to feel it. The crit today was pretty good fun. It...

Guys, Sorry I haven't been in touch. Work has been mad, plus I got just enough training time in on Tuesday to go over in the wet. I'm a bit the worse for wear but am still heading down. Sounds like we'll all be tip-top come Saturday. I'll drive the Falcon. I've taken the day off work and was hoping ...

So you didn't wear my jersey. Didn't know you were taller than Huw. I actually had your jersey in my bag just in case you showed up! When you didn't I figured I'd give it to you Sunday which meant I needed to keep it clean so I went around in the yellow. As it's turned out it rained Sunday and I'm ...

Matt, how does C grade compare with D grade? Very hard to say given that I rode 12 of the 14 laps alone, but that should tell you plenty in itself. I think the field was pretty thin because of the Road Championships out west, but with that said I was a bit insulted that they didn't bump me up to B ...

While I'm off conditioning for Wagga at the Sydney roads with the A open boys you guys are riding C grade? Gees that's not going to help ease the suffering next weekend but I guess you could say your protecting your handicaps? AL will be happy... We were conditioning for Wagga, but for the c...

Huh? The guide pin comes with each new chain and link chain. Are you sure you didn't miss it? It comes in a tiny plastic sleeve along with the actual link pin. Your problem with using a Wippermann is that the chain will have to be one link shorter than if you were using the pin link. Alternatively,...

Campy Chain

After another round of hilarious DIY hijinx on my bike I've found myself in the awkward situation of having a new 10sp chain and chain link but no chain link guide with which to install it. So next time someone installs a new 10sp campy chain could they keep the guide pin and pass on to me if possib...

As Mick said D grade was chockers with DHBC today. The blokes at sign-on asked me if I wanted to go up a grade but I declined and said I wanted to finish on the podium before I went anywhere. After last week's frustration I kept off the front till the 8th lap then kept a close eye on the contenders ...

Replacing Campy Cranks/BB

Right, so I've got a replacement set of cranks as mine have well and truly done their bit. They're missing the chainring bolt that goes into the crank due to a stripped thread and the BB sounds like an empty spray can with the mixer rattling around inside. Anyway, after taking note of the yellow war...

Gents, while training on Sat I took a bit of a fall. While I'm in much better shape than my helmet I'm not great - headachey and my depth perception seems to be a bit out. Depending on how I pull up over the next couple of days I may or may not get down to Bright.
