Bummer. I've snapped cranks and a bottom bracket axle on my old mountain bike, by they arguably got a lot more of a hammering than these. Re: Two groups to waterfall
It has been partially solved and very much thought of but the problem of the different pace/abilities of riders going out to water fall on a Sunday morning has become a problem. Currently the situation is for everyone to arrive outside Mick Mazzas before 6:30 am with the slow group leaving at 6:30 ...

The left crank on my commuter started creaking last week, and on thursday night I felt some play but didn't stop as it was too wet and miserable to do so. Had a look today and the crank is cracked through. Which I was surprised about as they're workmanlike 105 cranks - not exactly exotic or extra li...

I needed to get a bike box today, the closest bike shop to me is the notoriously bad King Street Cyclery. Despite this, I walked out of there empty handed. Why, because they want $2 for a bike box. I removed the stem off my old road bike commuter today to grease it, to get rid of the persistent creaking. I found out it was creaking due to the bottom 1.5cm of the stem (where the bolt moves inside to tighten/loosen it) being broken off, so I'm up for either a new-style stem with an (a/head?) con...

I really like the film. I saw it at the movies on the last day they were showing it as well. Have you read the book?
