Is it true you get points for turning up? I am sick as a dog and probably not fit enough to race tomorrow but I want to get the points.

Re: More Hats to be made; "Saturday Slowies"... interest lev

I'd love a hat, but maybe not with saturday slowies on it because I've only done that ride once before. Perhaps if that part was obscured by helmet it wouldn't be a big deal. Gloves with DHBC on the knuckles would be sweet too.

Re: RAW STARTS THIS FIDAY 25/06/2010!!!

That's a good story. It reminds me of a girlfriend i had once. Our dog went missing and she blamed me because I hadn't mended the fence. I went looking for it every chance I got, but couldn't find it. In the meantime our relationship deteriorated and then the girlfriend went missing. Some time late...

Re: getting chain tension right on a singlespeed/fixie

I used to have a similar problem on my old fuji, but there is something you should try before you spend money on new bb/ring etc. If you have the bike in a work stand, set it up as you normally would with regard to wheel position and desired chain tension. Next, loosen all 5 of the chainring bolts a...

Re: Handle Bar Tavern Closure

I think the issue is more about spectators and competitors getting there easily. I couldn't agree more. After my first meet on Saturday, I'm surprised anyone can be bothered going there. I'd rather drive to Perth - at least it's not a meandering debacle through suburban streets. In my opinion, the ...

I was also really impressed with Hugo, he had some great races where his tactics were excellent for the person he was racing against. Also Tim - it was great to see you come from behind and beat brownie, I knew you had him and to see you pull back from 10-15m was really great to watch. I also had he...
