You can continue as normal traffic if you are eliminated, so its not all bad.

Providing there isn't a head wind, I don't see the first 80k being anymore difficult than what I did out at Penrith Lakes or the Ride for Life in 2 weeks time. The real race will happen after the elimination point.

Unlike a crit circuit, in these races you can't know the limitations of every corner. Many of the accidents happened on corners that tightened up on themselves.
