Re: Blayney to Baturst (B2B) 22nd April 2012

Sorry Eleri, I did take off quite early in the piece. My plan was to treat the first 50km loop like a warm up and go easy. So much for that plan, those Oatley blokes rode by and their wheels were just too tempting. I stayed with them for the first 60-70 km, thanks guys. The good thing about going ha...

Re: 2012 adventure rides 6am: 6th May - The Wall

Philip, on the 6th May I think we should form the Dulwich Hill Nights Watch.... Ready to scale The Wall.

You have to wear black though...
Great idea, I wonder if they make carbon swords, those things they swing look HEAVY!.... Do we also have to take a vow of
celibacy?

Or perhaps in relation to "The Wall" the quote should be from The Game of Thrones..... "Winter is coming"

Which is totally meaningless to any one not addicted to The Game of Thrones

Every muscle was on fire and every rider was gliding past me. I almost didn't make it. These rides are great. Lesson, pace myself.... Know that feeling! Looks like we might have to practice 'pacing' ourselves big time on the next Adventure Ride, "The Wall". My legs are hurting already.......

Re: 2012 adventure rides - 6am 15th April - 4 Gorges

My ride time was 5 hours 26 minutes, while the time elapsed was 7 hours 36 minutes (cafe to home). That's 2hours 10 minutes of eating, resting or waiting. My question to the panel is this, at what point do we consider a rename. Perhaps Adventure Rides should be rebadged as Adventure Rests, or Advent...

Re: 2012 adventure rides - 6am 15th April - 4 Gorges

The prospect of the country's premier election analyst coming along has spurred me to join this ride. Hopefully by the end of it I'll be fully informed about who's who in the Terrigals, the Trogs and the Centre Unity factions of the NSW Labor Party.
Is there still a NSW Labour party?

I only see two Dulwich Hill entries in the 162km ride.

Myself and Bradley and he's nominated a 40kph speed, way out of my league.

BNSW Orange 135km Classic Road Ride

BNSW Orange Discovery Weekend, 24-25 March, 2012 - the Classic Ride. Hi, for those of you who were sensible and stayed in temperate Sydney on the weekend, good move! I, on the other hand, froze my butt off. As I understand it, since the demise of the RTA/BNSW Big Rides, BNSW are now doing ‘Discovery...

I am happy to wait till the box is organised or am also happy to pick the kit up from somewhere if that is easier. 6.30 is just a bad time as I'm feeding, bathing and getting to bed the little one then....

I'm a newbie to peloton riding but I'm learning fast. I have only done one waterfall ride with DHBC, loved it, but will have a few more under my belt by the 11th. 28+ is not a problem. If that sounds ok I'd love to come along. I am now a member also.
