Mike, this is my second Road Race and I assume my first Handicap. My first road race was the B2B a couple of years ago. Whilst I wasn't the last the finish the fellow in the Lantern Rouge vehicle did need to stop at the driver reviver station as he was so fatigued waiting for the arriere du peloton ...

I particularly like the comment: "While the riders in the picture weren't breaking the law, these risky practices have led to an increase in complaints." While another non-story, it does highlight the need to ensure we are all mindful of other road users. With rights comes responsibility....

On my way to Juniors track Training on Wednesday evening I saw Geoff S on the tandem riding down Fraser St Marrickville at an impressive clip alone. I will add he was on the front alone not the back alone.......
Gave him a toot and got a wave or maybe the finger, one of the two.

That's really super dancing guys. You have got the Lycra and the "Y" down pat.
So next comes the "M", the "C" and finally the "A". All that is left is a bit of spray tan and a hint of glitter.
Only 345 sleeps to Mardi Gras 2014! Soooooooo excited........

I payed a visit to our medical triathlete (ride, ambo, chopper) Greg in his suite at the St George Hospital aka cycling central. His mate Paul was kind enough to advise that he was in ICU2. Being the good little scout I am, I found my way to this location. It was then advised that Mr Pankhurst has b...

I did it in 2011 and used the transport option. My memory was that it was well organised and care was taken with the bikes. Geoff, I agree with Christian. When I have ride leadered in the recent months the 28's have become too big and too fast. I have almost demanded that certain riders move up to the Middies. In fact I did tell the 28's one morning that since half of them were stronger than me and I rode up with the Mid...

John I came across these lights for the first time a few weeks ago in the RED, stop do not pass colour position. I am of the opinion that lights are lights and we stop if red. A warning sign prior to the rail lines advising cyclists to stop on red signal would remove all doubt. I cannot imagine that...

How good is it to see the next crop of DHBCers? LACC had it all going on at their home track at Lidcombe Oval. Despite their tender age the kids had to submit to the wants of the Commissaires. I know we are all looking forward to Greg’s return to the bunch once he has recovered.
