Re: New Mid-Week Wednesday Club Ride - 6am to 8am

We ended up riding to La Perouse this morning with Micheal, Eleri and myself. Michael was fixed to the hills were not really a good option. We returned to Erskinville by 7:30am for a great coffee at Cafe Shenkin.

Looking forward to next week. Sorry I was a tad late at the start.

Cervelo Masters Super Series Rd2 _ Race Report

I raced Round 2 of the Cervelo Masters Super Series today at Kooragang Island in Newcastle. The 60km race was dead flat and fast around the large industrial dockyards on the Hunter River. It even included one train crossing although apprently know one's seen a train for years. I was pretty happy wit...

Re: Nowra to Sassafras n Back 90K Handicap Challenge - 22 Ju

Well, that hurt. I got dropped at 15km from the start and soloed the remainding 75kms . I still put in a maximum effort for the remainder of the race. Even if I wasn't going to be competitive, I wanted to get the most out of this race as training. Lessons learnt: don't ride in the elites race if you...

Re: Fitz's challenge rides in October

Hi Phillip, I've done both the 205km and the 250km. They're both fantastic rides. IMHO it's a lot harder than the Alpine Classic as you don't get the same rythym and the climbs are more punchy. It's definately worth doing... my advice would be to train, train, train and always ride at your own pace....

What are the dates for RAW this year? It's strange I can find them written anywhere.
I'm in the same boat as Taylor (have licence, but no bike). There are a couple of Friday's in July in which I should be able to make it.
