Re: Racing Queens birthday long weekend.
Do you have to pay entry into the park for west head, or do you park at the bottom of the hill and ride in? Then the only decision is what grade I should ride. I'm thnking of doing West head and Beaumont Rd this weekend.

What we don't want at this initial stage is to have C28 riders dropped before they read the C25 bunch. If this new system works out then we can revise the start times at a later date.

Mine says the same, there may be something wrong with the tracking system or maybe the plane fell out of the sky.

I'll update a few people here. On the 3 day tour I got one flat, Victoria got 3 where I changed two of them, Camilla got two where I changed both of them. If you want to clock up some points just go on a tour and fix flats for other people. 10 09 08 07 G 06 05 04 3.5 Jimmy, Christian 03 02.5 Weiyun,...

There is always the option to build a bike. My CF road bike cost around $3400. If you can get a frame cheap enough then its a good option. Cheap group sets can be found on ebay, I got my Force groupset for about $1100 from a local ebay seller. The main problem with going down this route is its hard ...

As far as I can see the only difference between in the Force and Rival RD is that the Force RD has a carbon cage and a magnesium inner link whilst the Rival is all aluminium. So in a lab you'd be able to detect a shifting difference due to the weight difference, but on a bike you won't be able to te...

I was a bit worried about being in Masters A grade but Brownie assured me that I'd be fine. It turns out he was correct and I had a good night. The one thing that's different about the masters grades is they are much more civilised, the attacks are smoother and everyone can ride in a straight line, ...

Its Shimano 9 speed I'm after. It turns out that the Dura Ace SL7700 shifters have been discontinued, so Shimano no longer makes 9 speed DT shifters, they still make the bar end ones. Wiggle claims they will be getting more in so CRC probably will as well. Shimano Australia has none in stock. Other ...

I think we shouldn't go through Berry on the first day, instead turn off at Gerringong and head down Crooked River Rd to Coolangatta then across to Bomaderry. As for the second day there is no way to get from Nowra to Bundanoon without going up the massive hill. I've been told it doesn't have much o...
