Senior Track Training 25.04.12 Cancelled.

Hi All,

Just to let you know that as both Myself and Simon will be down in Borwal tomorrow evening racing and Arthur isn’t sure if he can make it either, so we will be cancelling track training tomorrow (25.04.12) evening. The junior training will still take place with Collin.

Cheers,

Alex.

Its probably worth mentioning that if any parents do want to have a go on the track they will need a least a cycling NSW 'ride it' license. I know its a pain but its a requirement for insurance.

The avanti will have an english threaded bottom bracket and its 90 % certain that the 105 bottom bracket will also be english threaded. So you shouldnt have any trouble at all swapping them over. The only thing you may have to do is adjust the limits on the front derailer.

Re: Sprint events

Nice effort Patty, 11.5 is a really good time. It's been quite a number of years since any DHBC rider has gone that quick.

I think you've now inherited the fastest rider in the club title.

Re: A rainbow lorikeet and a vomit free ride

I thought Geoff's incident might have occured on the way back when John was driving the pace on the front of the bunch. In which case we can blame John not the hair.

Yea that really doesnt look like 300 + rpm. Also if he was a real track cyclist he would realise that you can spin much quicker whilst holding onto the top of the bars rather than being in the drops.

Re: Heffron

I think 'dhbc twitter' (stuart) was congradualating Sydunivelo on their victory, not the other way around. I'm not sure if we have any regular heffron riders at the moment, but from next week onwards I should be riding the tuesday night series.

Sorry to hear about your crash. As i discovered myself a fortnight ago, bike paths are dangerous places. Not that it really matters but i think you probably have the failure order the wrong way around. When you impacted the force would have been roughtly perpendicular to the forks, which would have ...
