Mike What I am questioning, is you state that the bike must be ridden on between flats. If the weather is good, there is a good ride on for all three groups this weekend (23rd May). A Group is doing the three gorges, Glaston, Berowra, Bobbin. B Group is doing a Bobbin Head return, this is probably ride through Bobbin Head, then back through and return to the shop. C Group is going to t...

I was thinking about the option of doing Bundeena as a variation, as well as an option for those who want to ride some of the park, and then catch the ferry to Cronulla. What about doing the Bundeena Ride in the first month of each Season? So, consider this month to be the June run, and then do it e...

Got a flat going through the Park today. On the bright side, it means that I got to trial my new saddle bag kit. Observances. Getting the tyre leavers out with cold fingers isn't much fun. Once you've got whatever you need, you tend to dump the kit on the ground, which then means that it is a great ...

Saddle Bag Kit

The other week I got a bit sick of trying to get one thing out of my saddle bag without everything coming out. I normally keep it all in a zip lock bag, but the bag ends up getting destroyed, and then you are likely to loose something out of it. Then, I came up with an idea. http://www.jamescheetham...

First up, I didn't witness the accident, I was on the scene soon after it happened, and I spoke to the driver. I rode with Bike Bug this morning, they do a run from North Sydney, through the Spit Bridge, and then up Pittwater Rd to Church Point, up McCarrs Creek Rd, and then back along Mona Vale Rd ...

Re: comparsion of hills

this sounds interesting ......how do the hills compare to the waterfall in audley out RNP route?? Interesting question, has anyone ridden out to Bundeena? KOM is basically hill repeats in the Balmoral area, all of the hills are relatively short, usually under a kilometre, however, they are quiet steep. In the B Group, you won't go up Awaba St, which has an average 15% gradient to the roundabout, and an average of 12% to the very top. I have hit over 7...

In Australia, we don't have a tipping culture, their staff would be paid the minimum wage at least. As it is a Sunday, they would be paid something like 1.5 their standard wage anyway. Here, I feel that we should only tip if you feel that the service/food was good enough to deserve a tip. Personally...
