Free Shimano shoes x2, MTB size 48

Two pairs of size 48 Shimano mountain bike shoes. Free to good home... or bad home, I'm not really fussed.
One pair has cleats.

Cheers.

Re: Hill Training Ride Suggestions Please....

either side of the cooks river has some good hills, nothing really long but do some hill repeats on them and you'll certainly know about it. Here are some of my favourites, if you can call them that. http://app.strava.com/segments/1329622 http://app.strava.com/segments/951035 http://app.strava.com/s...

Re: B2B Sun 21st April

I'm definitely doing the 162. It's extreme because they said it is. It's sort of mostly flattish except for a big hill at the end that we didn't do last year because of a crash and we all got diverted around it. Eleri, after doing hill repeats on Mount Buffalo "Extreme" must take on a who...

It's a timed event but it's not a race, so ride it how you like. There are shorter routes as well.

B2B Sun 21st April

Just entered B2B again. It was my first 100 mile ride last year so I'm looking forward to having another crack at it.

Any one else?

I'll be riding back as far as my legs will carry me. So the Gong at least, hopefully further, but I'm probably dreaming.

Give me some examples of what you want, but most likely I can shoot any thing you need. With the exception of social stuff, I lack all the social skills required for shooting functions.

I'm in but I doubt I'll be up to your pace. I'm always happy to go solo if I get dropped, so all is good.

Marc, if you do join Strava, you can filter segments to just include DHBC members, which is a good way to compare yourself to people you know.

The first time I rode with the DHBC group I fell in love with the sound. I still love it new or old the sound is wonderful. Also love it when I'm occasionally stopped on a fast descent and bikes come past at speed, it oddly sounds so much louder than when you're on the bike.

Re: Very cool lock ... on Kickstarter

Clever and neat. But remove the seatpost and the bike is no more. Need to use one of those security bolt for the seatpost collar. Then again, one still needs to carry a U-lock to be secure. The cable still wraps through the frame and also the wheel if you want it to, so removing the seat post would...

The main benefit as I see it is the fact that strava gives me a great deal of shallow, vain, competitive pleasure. Which as a shallow, vain, and quietly competitive fella is great. So I'm happy to offer my 65 bucks as a token of thanks and support. Other than the above I also love the age filters, t...

Re: How many kilometres did you ride in 2012?

Cool idea John, I too was averaging zero two years ago. Fat, Fifty and F*^#ed as the saying goes. So this year to date is; 6391 KM 72,500 vertical meters (love that number) 163 rides Which gives me an average ride distance of 39 km. Two years ago that would have been a maximum effort, now it's an av...
