Re: Cootamundra Haycarters & Recovery: Sat-Sun 12th & 13th M

I checked out the site for the Shirley, and it seems as though you have to enquire before you get some kind of pricing. Is it expensive and does it get sold out, or is there plenty of room? Would we get a better deal if we all applied for a group deal? Not real keen on sleeping in a tent next to my ...

I couldn't believe the value that I got with my Felt. $5k with sram red, when for the same price I could have got a Colnago with Ultegra. Plus they always look pretty good and more often than not come in the colours of the club. From what I've heard, the Azzuri's are also pretty good. A friend of mi...

Unless there are 2 million cars queued up, I never lane split anymore, mostly for this reason. It must be frustrating as a motorist to have a cyclist overtake you, only to have to overtake them at great effort only 30 seconds later. Ah well.

Re: DHCP Juniors News Training 18 Jaruary 2012

Maybe next time we have a training session we could take stock of what needs to be done to get a few of the bikes rolling, and have a night time working bee or something.
There are maybe 700 bikes in that shed that I've never seen anyone ride. Do we know who owns them all?

Again, not mine but a fair deal that might help someone looking for some training wheels.

Re: Racing (for both sexes) with SUVelo

I think they said it was numbers pending. I guess they don't want 4 or 5 girls showing up and having 3 grades. Surely they will get enough for at least two grades, there are more and more (fast) women who show up for group rides every week.

This sounds good, I might hit it up one time.

The hole is big enough, we could install the sign pole in it. That would get it fixed pretty quickly.

Re: Dulwich Hill spotted

Yesterday saw Mig at La Perouse, this morning I saw him on the path out of Centennial, then in the same place an hour or so later (I was running a few errands) I saw Peter on his red Genesis. Also saw a guy on an older Cervelo with a dark green backpack and DHBC jersey riding over the victoria bridg...
