1.30 would include lunch, a think a bit earlier for those who can't do lunch. Does anyone remember the timings from last time we did this route?
As I said above: 3:40 moving time. Long stop for breakfast and at the top of the hill. We were at the pub by 11:00. It's only 92 k's.

Terribly saddened that one of the clubs most fabulous and dedicated members has been taken out by a SMIDSY. Sending out the love and wishes for a fast and complete recovery. My thoughts on Sydney truck drivers best left for private discussion.

So, I'll be making a very rare appearance at Sat Hills tomorrow 16th Aug given the almost 100% likelihood of rain on Sun. Planning on doing a "Loop the Loop" if anybody's interested. That means we reverse the route after finishing the hills bit by turning left at Birraga Rd, enjoying the f...

And of course when all your wheels are already Shimano/SRAM hubs then Campy, however lovely, is not really in the picture.

Interesting comments from Adrian.

I would, but I may drive too - depends really. I'll have a look at some maps. Lots of fastish riders on the bike path is not a good idea I don't think, especially on the return leg.

I assume there will a bunch ride to get out there so we're warmed up a bit? What time and what will the route be?

I know you can go on the Cooks River Bike Path all the way really but there may be faster routes?

How many laps (reincarnations) in a race?
It's normally time, not laps. As in; 45 mins + 1 lap. That kind of thing.

Silver or Gold Licence?
Gold licence required. Day licences available. I'm there. I love crits - they're over with fast and have corners.

Yes Marc is correct. Same story last year. Lots of last minute licence upgrades were required. But now that's its Q3 you can upgrade for half price.
