The day, the destination and time is right. But I feel that I would be 2.5kph too slow for you.

Re: Flying Domestically with a bike?

I have flown with Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin. Virgin was a challenge and I wouldn't fly with my bike with them again. Nothing wrong with the airline, just the bike part was too hard. Jetstar, I purchase additional luggage 25Kg and all good. Qantas I didn't need to buy anything additional. I travel w...

Re: Three Peaks 2015

I will make contact with Chorki tomorrow. I am planning to do it with some of the C25's, C28's and Middies. It's bucket list stuff and we'll be a fast as the slowest rider. My target time with them is 12 hours and 59 minutes. It would appear there are plenty of active and peripheral DHBC riders keen...

Three Peaks 2015

Hi Peakers Could someone give me some advice on accommodation at Falls creek for next year's edition of the Three Peaks Challenge? I will need accommodation for five riders and we will be happy with Spartan rather than luxury. We will just wish to be on the Hill and not need to travel on the morning...

Are you thinking K.D. Dougie?
Paul
Hi Paul. Yes I need the training. 100km with climbing is about the money for Uncle Ken. 6am from the Café we can decide the IN/OUT on the way.
All weather dependent of course.

ps I have your jersey in my car. chat later
cheers

Re: Vintage Jersey orders ***JERSEYS are in!***

Hi andy
These jerseys were ordered about a year ago and only delivered recently. The long and the short of it is no sorry they are all individual pre order and pre payments.

There maybe an order in the future. Lizanne is the driver behinds this initiative.

102km! 4 laps!

I did have unfinished business with this ride after my effort last year. However that's another 16 or 17 additional kilometres that is liable to kill me. I was so deep into the red last year that I was seeing stars. Dammit, not happy Jan!

Dougie, I like the sound of the West Head ride....bit worried that I may not be up to speed though. 25's pace is a tad to slow for me and 28's pace is a tad too fast uphills. Camille, Stuart is planning another west head ride in a fortnight. Today was six hours door to door and 120km. We averaged 26kph. You would be well strong enough for that ride. Watch for his updates.

Bike for sale ad gumtree via ninemsn

Now THIS is your next bike, but only if you are powerful enough to tame it! A Gumtree listing for a Merida Scultura Evo Team, which ninemsn understands to be a kind of bike, boasts about its unlikely powers. It's so light, says owner Zinzan, that he has to tie it down before he sleeps at night so it...
